Quilt Show-Off 2004

On a beautiful and breezy Saturday in May we hung lines and brought out our quilts to show-off. Well, not to Show Off....but to show somebody that we actually had finished those quilts we started last year.

The Show was held at the Granny House.
And Celebrate we did! The quilts were contributed by wonderful and talented quilters
Lots of thanks to all who volunteered to help hang, watch, and take down all the cool quilts.
There were helpers and quilts everywhere.
We did use ladders for the big quilts, but the best hangers were the ones who were willing to climb in the trees.
A nice breeze kept things cool for the day.
The workmanship was awesome, can you believe she quilted the whole thing by hand!
Lots of love went into the making of these one of a kind treasures.
Yes, I told you, there were a lot of quilts! We displayed almost 100 pieces.
All sizes, colors, and styles. You were sure to find one that excited you.
We are already planning for May of next year. Get going on those quilts, you don’t want to be left behind.
